The GNOME Do core team has published a redesigned GNOME Do website to accompany the imminent release of Do 0.8. I’m especially pleased with how the new development page worked out. Special thanks to Steven Garrity at SilverOrange for help with the design. The site is a work in progress, and, as always, the source lives in a branch hosted on Launchpad for those of you who’d like to work on it.

The new website is indeed nice :). Just two things. There’s a “you” missing here: “if want to help fix bugs” (in Development). Also, there’s a scroll bar even when the page fits on a page, probably too much margin at the bottom or something like that.
I’m looking forward to the 0.8 release! By the way, are there plans for a Beagle/XESAM plugin?
Thanks, Robin. I’ve fixed the typo(s), but I can’t remove that excessive bottom margin until I can change the background color of the entire window. body { background-color: #XXX; } will not affect the background of the entire window, just the background of the body, which fits the content.
No, we generally do not plan plugins. We spend a lot of time working on the core application and supporting plugin authors, so if you’d like to work on a Beagle plugin, we can help you.
Way to go Dave! Looks great.
You can also set the background-color for the html tag, that seems to solve the problem (from here: http://www.romej.com/archives/565/yui-grids-css-body-background-issues).
Ok, thanks for the explanation. It would be an interesting project, but I have barely time to read all my RSS feeds at the moment :).
Fantastic! :D
I’m impressed with the quality and still amazed by the preview page.
Congratulations on all this great work.
